Visualization and recording app for cultural landscape elements in Lower Saxony with display on a mobile map.The aim of the project is to transfer the recording of parts of the cultural landscape to the present day of "digitality" by making greater use of digital options in order to facilitate and consolidate the recording work by volunteers.The Niedersächsischer Heimatbund e.V.
(NHB) started the project Trace Search Lower Saxony Digital on November 1, 2020.
The project creates digital input and training options for the recording of historical parts of the cultural landscape in Lower Saxony and their application is supported.
The Niedersächsische Bingo-Umweltstiftung (NBU) is supporting the project with €198,000.
The interdisciplinary specialist groups of the NHB provide technical support and content-related support.Cooperation partners are the Lower Saxony State Office for the Preservation of Monuments (NLD) as the operator of the monument database (ADABweb) and the Digital Monument Atlas (DDA), the Regional Association of Southern Lower Saxony e.V.
as a regional cultural sponsor and educational institution for local home caretakers, and KIG Kulturlandschaft und Informatik GmbH as the operator of the Cultural landscape mapping platform KLEKs.
